City of Coquitlam mail ballot voting information

Mail ballots may be returned through Canada Post, at City Hall or at an advance or general voting location during the dates and times listed above. The City of Coquitlam must receive your ballot by Saturday, October 17th, 8:00 pm.

ID Requirements

Bring two pieces of identification. Both pieces must show your first and last name and your address in Coquitlam. At least one piece must include your signature.

Accepted identification includes:

  • BC Services Card
  • BC Driver's Licence
  • BC Identification Card issued by ICBC
  • Canadian Citizenship Card
  • Birth Certificate
  • Credit Card or Debit Card
  • Property Tax Notice issued by the City of Coquitlam
  • Social Insurance Card
  • Secure Certificate of Indian Status (Status Card)
  • Utility Bill (Phone, Internet, BC Hydro, FortisBC, etc.)
  • Valid Passport
  • Vehicle insurance documents issued by ICBC
  • BC Ministry of Social Development and Poverty Reduction Request for Continued Assistance Form SDES8
